The Amsterdam Canal Pride 2026 takes place on August 1.

To participate in the Canal Pride Parade, you must first obtain a starting ticket. You can do this by registering with Pride Amsterdam. After the registration deadline of November 2025, the Pride Committee will evaluate all applications, and the best entries will be granted a spot in the parade. The results will be announced in early December.

The main costs of participating in the Canal Parade consist of the registration fee and the boat rental. To keep participation as inclusive as possible, Pride Amsterdam uses different registration categories depending on the type of group. For example, foundations with limited financial resources can sometimes be sponsored, while large companies pay a higher fee. For more information on this, we refer to Pride Amsterdam.

Safety is our top priority, we want you to relax and not worry about anything. All our boats comply with the required safety standards and are operated by experienced and certified skippers. In addition, there are always sufficient life buoys and fire extinguishers on board, and house rules apply to ensure everyone’s safety. We kindly ask our guests to act responsibly and follow the instructions of the skipper and crew.

Yes, we do our best to make our boats accessible to everyone. Some boats are suitable for wheelchairs, but not all. We always discuss this with each group to ensure the most suitable boat for wheelchairs and people with disabilities is available. We can coordinate this in advance with the organization so that you have the best boarding location, allowing us to assist everyone on board.

This depends on the boat you choose. We have boats for smaller groups as well as for larger parties. In general, our boats can accommodate between 10 and 120 people. Contact us for the exact capacity of the boat you have in mind.
